The joint venture between GAIA IMPORTACAO E EXPORTACAO LTDA and the Company was formed in November 2006 and is based in Brazil.

The business has been formed to produce Prepared Fresh Fruit to supply the local supermarkets in Brazil, UK and mainland European retailers. The point of difference is to develop tree ripened prepared fruit with a large variety from throughout South America.

The new 3,048 sq m factory, completed early 2007, has been built to UK technical standards. The factory is located north east of Sao Paulo city within a 50 minute drive to the International airport utilising the direct air freight links to the UK and mainland Europe.

There is potential for innovation in product development.
